Stone Harbour Construction provided Excavation, site-work, storm water management, curbing, sidewalks, foundations, piers, loading docks and slabs. This project required strict conformance to a highly aggressive schedule and was completed in six months.
This project required selective demolition of a vacated 1950’s-era retail center in Stamford, Connecticut. Excavation work included installation of a new storm water management system, drive-through apron, sidewalks, and removal and replacement of an existing fire main. Concrete included interior infills after installation of plumbing and utilities, stair pans, exterior dumpster, transformer pads, sidewalks, curbing and the pouring of a new loading area and entry.
Stone Harbour Construction provided complete excavation services which included the removal of existing underground tanks, soil removal and remediation. In addition, we cored existing slabs for the drilling and installation of 29 micro-piles and concrete work for all the pile caps and column piers as well as the footings, foundation and slabs.
Foundation needed to be raised 2′ out of flood zone, extended front entry way to meet new elevation. Added addition to back of cottage, new roof, chimney, siding, windows and driveway. Gutted entire interior new plumbing, electric, ac, kitchen, bathroom, living room and dining room.

This site was heavily bound by wetlands requiring extreme care during excavation, septic, and drainage work.
